Huize Maas
Huize Maas transforms into the ultimate dance venue for Sugarville! With its historic charm, top-notch sound, and a spacious dance floor, this iconic Groningen hotspot is the perfect place to swing the night away. Whether you're a seasoned Lindy Hopper or just discovering the joy of swing dance, Huize Maas sets the stage for an unforgettable night of rhythm, energy, and pure dance fun.
De Walrus
If you're not quite done partying, just walk 3 minutes to Café the Walrus, where the festivities will continue with our blues afterparty! This blues-y venue is available to us until early in the morning, for the die hards among us.
Der Aa-Theater
Located near the Vismarkt, the Der Aa Theater is where we will end our weekend with a bang. With its hardwood flooring and cozy atmosphere it's the perfect setting for one last night of sweet swing before we all get some well-deserved rest.
Gymzaal Violenstraat
This year we are having our classes at the gym halls in the Violenstraat. With their location being central and the halls being close to one-another, you can use breaks to venture out. Either grab a snack at the supermarket or cafe, or enjoy one of the local parks. The city square is a 13 minute walk, or 4 min bike ride away.
Gymzaal Ossehoederstraat
These two gymhalls, located within a 20 minute walking distance (5 by bicycle) from each other will be our venues for the workshops. They're both located just outside of the centre and are easily accessible both on foot and by bike. The schedules will take the distance between the two venues into account.
Doopsgezinde

For our history and culture talks we are welcome in de Doopsgezinde kerk in the centre of Groningen. This church (with great acoustics) is located within 5 minutes (fast walk / slow bike) of our party and lesson locations.
